Clemson could land a big one-two punch in Georgia Friday and Saturday. DE Myles Murphy of Powder Springs is set to announce his commitment at his spring football game Friday night around 7:30 PM. He has named Clemson and Auburn as his two finalists. And RB Kobe Pryor of Cedartown has had a final group of Clemson, USC, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Auburn and LSU. He has already made his decision and informed the school. Clemson recruiter Tony Elliott was at the school Monday to scout Pryor who plans to announce his decision with a Twitter video around noon Saturday.

Conway DE Tonka Hemingway said he continues to hear regularly from USC defensive line coach John Scott. USC, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and Duke have been thru this spring to check on him. He said and Duke also are strong on him at this point, and Vandy is starting to come on as well. He visited USC for the spring game and has also been to Duke and Wake Forest. He’s still considering all of his offers before deciding on his official visits. Some of his other offers are Louisville, Alabama, Rutgers, Ole Miss, Georgia, East Carolina, North Carolina and NC State. He plans a decision by the end of summer.

DE AJ Beatty of Pittsburgh included USC in his top seven. The others are North Carolina, UCF, West Virginia, Purdue, NC State and Maryland. He visited USC for the spring game.

6-5 Dillon Jones of Keenan said Butler is now recruiting him but has not yet offered, and Coastal Carolina also is recruiting him like a priority target. He’s also hearing a lot from UNC-Greensboro and Appalachian State. He talked with USC coach Frank Martina and assistant Chuck Martin at the recent Dallas AAU event. He wants to set up visits with Butler, Appalachian, Coastal, Hofstra, College of Charleston and Charlotte.

2021 QB Garrett Nussmeier (6-1 175) of Flower Mound, TX was offered by USC.

2021 SAF TreVeyon Henderson of Hopewell, GA was offered by USC. He visited last season. He also picked up recent offers from Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Dorman PG Myles Tate was offered by Murray State.

CB Dominick Hill of Orlando said USC leads Texas and Missouri for him at this point. He’ll take an official visit to USC end of this month. Georgia is also in the mix.

Highly regarded 2022 QB Terian Williams of Lilburn, GA was scouted this spring by USC recruiter Coleman Hutzler. He plans to attend a camp at USC June 21st.
