The USC baseball season hit rock bottom this weekend with a sweep at the hands of Vanderbilt at Founders Park. The Gamecocks now own the SEC’s worst record at 5-19 and are just a game over .500 overall at 24-23. At this point, they are out of the SEC Tournament but only trail Kentucky and Alabama by a game. They will host Kentucky this weekend after a mid-week game against Furman.
Clemson split a two game home and home series with Gardner-Webb over the weekend. The Tigers are 28-19 and will host Presbyterian and The Citadel this week before traveling to NC State.
