The Sunshine State was not good at all to USC and Clemson over the weekend. The Gamecocks lost two of three at Florida, and had victory snatched away from them on Saturday with two outs in the bottom of the ninth with a three run homer. The Gamecocks have yet to win an SEC series this season and are tied with Kentucky and Alabama for the league’s worst record at 4-11. The Gamecocks play North Carolina Tuesday night in Charlotte before opening an SEC home series with Texas A&M Thursday night.

It was even worse for the Tigers who were swept at Florida State. Along the way the Tigers yielded 16 runs in a loss on Saturday. The Tigers fall to 11-7 in the ACC and are in third place in the Atlantic Division. They play at Georgia Tuesday night then open a series at home against Duke on Friday night.
