RB Marshawn Lloyd of Hyattsville, MD has scheduled another unofficial visit to USC for this weekend according to TheBigSpur. Lloyd also visited the Gamecocks in early February. He’s regarded as one of the top running backs in the country. He also has visited Clemson and Georgia.
LB/RB Trent Simpson of Charlotte plans to visit Clemson Saturday for the spring game according to TigerIllustrated. The Tigers have not yet offered. Simpson visited USC in January and the Gamecocks have offered. North Carolina, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, LSU, Miami, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, Nebraska and Penn State also are among his offers. He also has visited Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee.
2021 OL Colston Powers (6-5 285) of Daleville, VA plans to visit Clemson Saturday for the spring game.
USC commitment OL Javion Cohen was offered by Florida.
LB Antoine Sampah plans to visit Clemson Saturday.
CB Dequanteous Watts of Atlanta plans to announce a commitment April 9th. He took an official to Texas Tech last weekend and told RedRaiderSports.com. he’s choosing from USC, Louisville and Texas Tech. He took an official to USC in January. We asked Watts if USC was still recruiting him and he said yes. The Gamecocks do have one spot available in their 2019 class. Watts already has committed to UCF and Colorado State.
Clemson QB target DJ Uiagalelei of Bellflower, CA arrived on campus Wednesday afternoon for his unofficial visit.
PK Aidan Shahriari of Clearwater, FL visited USC Wednesday. He plans to return this summer for the specialists camp.
2022 WR 6-5 Jaleel Skinner of Greer was offered by USC, his first Power 5 offer.
USC target WR Mike Wyman of Greensboro, NC will announce April 16th. He plans to visit USC again this weekend.
Clemson made the top 10 with safety Jordan Morant of Oradell, NJ. The others on his short list are Southern Cal, Penn State, Oregon, Alabama, Notre Dame, LSU, Miami, Michigan and Texas A&M.
WR EJ Williams of Phenix City, AL has set an official visit to Tennessee for April 13th. He also has USC and Clemson offers.
