Spring practice is winding down at USC. The Gamecocks have a major scrimmage Saturday, and that will leave them just three practices next week, including the spring game. Practice #11 was held Thursday morning and afterwards defensive ends coach Mike Peterson met with the media to talk about the players in his room.
Peterson began his comments but updating the health of standout defensive end DJ Wonnum who missed most of last season with a broken bone in his foot.
