Clemson Basketball Head Coach Brad Brownell joined SportsTalk on Wednesday and revealed that the Tigers may have to go a little while longer without their leading scorer Marcquise Reed.
Brownell said Reed’s Grade-Two MCL sprain is not healing as quickly as they had hoped, categorizing Reed as doubtful for Saturday’s contest against Radford. The Head Coach also would not be surprised if the guard was held out of the game against South Carolina one week from Saturday.
The Tigers (6-3) have struggled defensively out of the gate, including a performance against Mississippi State which saw Clemson allow 19 three-pointers against Bulldogs.
