USC football players who talked with the media this week had to relive the Clemson game one more time. And that’s fine because the Gamecocks played a much more competitive game than was expected and certainly raised the hopes of their followers for the next two games and next season. But the players want to move on to Akron this Saturday and then their bowl game, so they want to put the Clemson game behind them and focus on the future.
