Pittsburgh Head Coach Pat Narduzzi knows that the team they will face in the 2018 ACC Football Championship Game will have a much different feel than the team they beat two seasons ago in Death Valley.
The team that caused the lone blemish in Clemson’s National Championship year of 2016 is long gone from the Steel City, but Narduzzi brings a rock-steady group that befits the same philosophy as that upset-minded squad.
Narduzzi’s team was three-touchdown or more underdog in Memorial Stadium two years ago, and plaudits give the Panthers similar if not more slim chances to pull a repeat on Clemson.
Pitt brings to the Queen City a battle-tested group that has played non-conference contests against Penn State, at UCF and one of Notre Dame’s five ACC-manadated contests, falling short in each.
The Head Coach of the Coastal Champions believes they’ve been hardened by the tough slate, but also thinks it would be difficult to prepare for the challenge ahead of them Saturday night.
