The 2019 prospect, who plays for Woodstock Academy in Connecticut, also had offers from Georgia Tech and Florida International.
He played over the summer for the West Coast Elite AAU team, averaging 12 points per game and shooting 50 percent from the field.
Anderson joins Hartsville native Trae Hannibal and Wildens Leveque of Brockton, Massachusetts in South Carolina’s class, filling up all of the available spots for next year’s team without factoring in potential transfers or early departures.
