A report by the North Carolina fan website InsideCarolina Wednesday night has former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant taking an unoffical visit with the Tar Heels this weekend when they play host to Virginia Tech. This would be the first visit taken by Bryant since he announced his transfer. According to sources, at least nine other programs have reached out to Bryant to gauge his interest. These include Mississippi State, Arkansas, Fresno State and Georgia State. Thursday afternoon, Woody Wommack of Rivals reported Bryant told him he also will take an official visit to Arkansas next weekend and is looking at Louisville and Missouri for other official visits. He listed the number of schools to reach out to Bryant as 15.
SAF Lewis Cine of Cedar Hill, TX committed to Georgia. Clemson was among his offers.
DE Nolan Smith, a Georgia commitment, tweeted Wednesday that he plans to take his 5 official visits starting with Alabama. Clemson has been one of his top schools as well.
Spring Valley PK Alex Herrera made an unofficial visit to USC last Saturday. He is ranked 15th as a placekicker and 25th as a punter by Kohl’s Professional Kicking Camps.
USC commit DE Joe Anderson will visit this weekend for the Texas A&M game.
2020 Clemson OL target Paul Tchio of Alpharetta, GA was offered by Ole Miss. He has had a top three of Clemson, Alabama and Georgia. He’s scheduled to visit Alabama this weekend.
The USC baseball team landed a commitment from 2021 RHP Caleb Gampe of Hollidaysburg, PA.
