The South Carolina Gamecocks overcame a one-hour and sixteen-minute weather delay and other sources of adversity to survive a gauntlet of a challenge against Missouri, a game where their head coach felt fortunate to come out on the winning side.
USC Head Coach Will Muschamp said the team came out as good as expected, going into the game without its starting quarterback and its leading pass-rusher.
On the injury front: TE Jacob August will be back this week, DB JT Ibe won’t be back this week with a knee injury. DE DJ Wonnum will run this week testing his injured knee, but doubtful of his ability to play this week.
Muschamp also declined to provide an update on injured QB Jake Bentley, saying he will know more on Tuesday. The Head Coach also declined to say whether backup QB Michael Scarnecchia played well enough to earn the start vs. Texas A&M regardless of Bentley’s health.
