Clemson Wednesday announced it has agreed to a home and home football series with LSU for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. Clemson also announced the addition of Troy to the 2025 slate.
Clemson will open the ’25 campaign at home against LSU on August 30th and Troy will visit Death Valley the following weekend. Clemson’s return engagement to LSU’s Death Valley is set for September 5th, 2026.
Clemson and LSU have played three times but never in the regular season. Their earlier meetings were in the 1958 Sugar Bowl, the 1996 Peach Bowl and the 2012 Chick-Fil-A Bowl.
“The series against LSU continues the philosophy we have had at Clemson for many years of looking to add another Power 5 opponent to our schedule outside of our annual rivalry game with the University of South Carolina,” Clemson athletics director Dan Radakovich said in a statement. “We are excited about playing a school with LSU’s rich football tradition. We know our fans will enjoy visiting Baton Rouge, and we know they will provide our renowned Clemson hospitality to the fans from LSU.”
The game with Troy will be the third between the schools with Clemson having won the first two.
