6-7 Christian Brown of Lower Richland has decided on Clemson for his second official visit. He took his first official visit in June to UNLV. His Clemson official has been set for August 31st.
“Clemson has been on my top list and Clemson has been recruiting me for a very long time, so it’s time to make the decision so I’m going to have an official visit to Clemson,” Brown said. “I hear from coach (Steve) Smith a lot. I hear from Coach Brownell, he contacts me from time to time but he mostly is at the games.”
Brownell has had a long running relationship with Brown and with his decision coming in November, that looms large for Clemson.
“They’ve been recruiting me since eighth grade. That’s big for me,” he said. “That was my first offer. They’ve been with me thru thick and then.”
Brown said he does not have any other visits set at this point but he and his mother are looking at a visit to LSU. After that, he’s not sure about other official visits.
Texas Tech and Georgia are two other schools Brown said he’s hearing from and considering. He said he’s no longer hearing from USC.
