If there was a refrain that spoke as loud as any during the South Carolina basketball season, Frank Martin spoke volumes on how much his team’s point guard play needed improvement.
Martin has overhauled that position with the 2018 roster, adding two transfers to the mix with immediately-eligible graduate transfer Tre Campbell and Jair Bolden who will sit this season and have two years of eligibility with the Gamecocks.
Campbell joins incoming freshman TJ Moss as immediate options to play the position, allowing Hassani Gravett to play more off-the-ball which suits his game better.
Both Campbell and Bolden met the media for the first time as Gamecocks Wednesday:
South Carolina opens the season in November.
