South Carolina Baseball Coach Mark Kingston believes that in the first year under his guidance, he imparted the kind of program he wants for the Gamecocks.
Kingston’s group came within one win of reaching the College World Series, only to lose in blowout fashion in their decisive game against Arkansas. Despite not reaching Omaha, Kingston believes they overcame a great deal of adversity, recovering from midweek upsets to make an NCAA Tournament run.
The USC Coach believes that he will have a similar job like he did this past year with acclimating a new group of players to his expectations with the amount of turnover he will have with the 2019 squad.

He also said they have yet to finalize the location with the neutral site game with Clemson as the contract with Fluor Field in Greenville expired after last season.
