LB Spencer Lytle of Bellflower, CA took an official visit to Wisconsin last weekend and will take an official visit to Notre Dame this weekend. In between, however, will be an unofficial visit to Clemson Tuesday and Wednesday which no doubt will be treated by the Tigers like an official visit. Lytle also visited Clemson in April and is excited about the return trip.
“They love me,” Lytle said of the Tigers. “I talk to Coach Venables about every day or every other day. He’s just a great guy. They say they genuinely love me at backer and the way I play.”
Lytle said he’s not sure if he’ll take any more visits after the Notre Dame official, though he could. It’s possible he’ll find what he’s looking for on these visits.
“Just trying to find out which place feels like home,” Lytle said. “I loved Clemson last time I was out there and I’m sure going to absolutely love it again. My family all loved it, they loved the entire staff. It will be a fun visit.”
Lytle considers his recruitment still somewhat open though he is starting to tell schools he’s not interested. He hopes to make his decision in late July but the process could roll into September.
