In a season that took Clemson basketball to uncharted waters for his tenure with the Tigers, Head Coach Brad Brownell reflected on his team’s historic season.
Clemson reached the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in more than 20 years, and the Tigers should be primed for another run in the Big Dance if those projected to come back decide to return.
Brownell said Clemson’s three rising seniors, Marcquise Reed, Shelton Mitchell and Elijah Thomas have not made any decisions regarding their future or have decided to submit their names to the NBA Draft at this point.
The Tigers coach also confirmed a report from ESPN last week that Clemson is primed to talk about an extension for Brownell off of the heels of a school record-tying 25 win season.
