Per his former high school coach Dion Bethea, USC, Clemson, Georgetown, Texas Tech, East Tennessee State and Illinois among the schools to reach out to freshman guard Jalek Felton who has left North Carolina. He prepped at Mullins and Gray Collegiate.
PK Patrick Nations of Walhalla visited USC Saturday and the Gamecocks are his favorite at this point. “The visit went very good! I love it down there. The coaching staff is very loving and accepting and they want you to be apart of their family and I love that. They asked me to come back for the spring game so I’ll be down there for that, and then I’ll be going to their specialists camp June 16th. They are coming at me the hardest right now. They’ve told me that they really like me and that they are waiting to see how the numbers play out to see if they have a scholarship to give to a specialist.”
RB Kendrell Flowers of Irmo made it to USC over the weekend to take in a practice. “It was a good feeling to see how the spring practices are and the routines they go thru. They were telling me they are still trying to see what they want to offer me as if that’s a running back or wide receiver.” Flowers had planned to visit Clemson Saturday but has to reschedule that visit.”
PK Aidan Swanson of IMG Academy in Florida was at Clemson for the junior day Saturday. “The visit to Clemson was awesome as usual. Every time I come up here it never disappoints. They can’t wait to get me up here more and show me why they are highly interested in me.” Swanson said he is favoring Clemson at this point and is also considering UCF, Florida, Mississippi State and Nebraska. Clemson has offered him as a preferred walk-on.
LB Samuel Brooks of Miami committed to Miami but said he’s still in touch with USC and plans to visit with teammates for the spring game.

TE Luke Deal of Emerald was at Clemson Friday and said it was a very good visit. He visited Auburn Saturday. He has set an official visit to Michigan for April 14th.
DB Kyle Hamilton of Atlanta visited Clemson Saturday and said the Tigers are really high up on his list after the visit. He has more visits upcoming including Vanderbilt Monday. Clemson is recruiting him as a safety.
TL Hanna QB Alex Meredith was offered by Furman. The Citadel also offered him recently.
6-6 Juwan Gary of Gray Collegiate told TheBigSpur Friday night after his team’s state championship victory his top schools are USC, Maryland, Connecticut, Virginia Tech and Virginia.
USC and Clemson target 6-11 Malcolm Wilson of Ridge View with 15 points, 15 rebounds and 7 blocks in a state championship win Saturday night.
2020 DE Andre Miller of Savannah visited USC Saturday.
2020 DE Jacolbe Cowan of Charlotte was offered by Clemson Saturday while at the Tigers’ junior day.
TE Keshawn Toney of Williston-Elko was offered by USC Saturday while in for a visit. He also has Georgia State, SC State and Charlotte offers. In his career on offense, Toney has 107 catches for 1571 yards and 11 touchdowns. Last season on defense he had 39 tackles with 8 tackles for loss and 4 sacks.
PK Ryan Fitzgerald of Moultrie, GA was back at USC Saturday. “It was good, got to watch practice. I feel like I could come in right now and challenge for the starting spot. Coach Hutzler said he’ll be down to see me this spring and he said I can come up and visit again soon. I’ll be at camp this summer. The specialist camp will probably determine who gets the offer.” Fitzgerald said he will be visiting Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia in coming weeks.
DB Jammie Robinson of Cordele, GA was in for a visit to USC Saturday. The Gamecocks have been among his favorites, and he has close to 30 offers.
QB Garrett Shrader of Charlotte visited USC Friday. He actually arrived Thursday night and stayed the night so he could be at practice first thing Friday morning. “I loved it, got to spend some time with the guys which was fun. It’s early (in practice) so it’s hard to get a great feel (for the offense) because it was only the second day of install. I got to spend a lot of time with Werner and BMac, and I talked to Muschamp for about 20 mins before I left. It (the visit) pushes them even higher on my list.” Sharder said his next visit will be to West Virginia.
PK Anthony Rodriguez of Kennesaw, GA visited USC Friday. “Visit was amazing. South Carolina is the real deal. The coaches, staff, facilities, academics is mind blowing. Coach Coleman (Hutzler) and his staff are doing an amazing job here. Loved it.” Last season he was 4-8 on field goals and 38-38 on extra points.
Rice grad transfer safety JT Ibe confirmed he’s on his way to Columbia Friday night for his official visit with USC.
USC commitment DB Bryce Thompson of Dutch Fork plans to visit USC Saturday to watch spring practice. “As of right now everything is still the same. Hoping to sign in April.” Thompson said he’s eyeing an April signing because his grades are improving. He visited Tennessee unofficially last weekend and he’s taken an official visit to Marshall.
