OL Caedan Wallace of Princeton, NJ has strong ties to his birth state of South Carolina with family members in Greenville and Gray Court. Clemson and USC have offered him, along with many others, and both are actively recruiting him. He likes both in state schools but right now he feels more comfortable with the Tigers than the Gamecocks.
“It’s just a different program, the way their program is run, it’s just different than South Carolina’s. I just look at them differently,” Wallace said. “”I talk to the offensive line coach about every day so we’re building a great relationship, and it’s a great school. Definitely looking at taking an official or some type of visit down there in the spring and the summer. Great school and definitely looking forward to learning more about their program.”
Wallace also is in touch with USC and is keeping the Gamecocks on his short list at this point.
“I talk to Coach Wolford and Coach Muschamp and they tell me that I would be a great addition,” Wallace said. “They gave me some things I can work on for three years and see how I progress from there. It’s a great school. I’m really looking in to it.”
Wallace visited Penn State in early February and doesn’t have any other visits planned right now. He wants to take a couple of his officials in April. He said other schools he’s serious about at this time are Penn State, Oklahoma and Stanford.
Wallace added that he’s unsure about when he will sign and if he will graduate early.
