Clemson Basketball Head Coach Brad Brownell joined SportsTalk Thursday as the Tigers prepare to play Duke on Sunday.
The Tigers come off a deflating overtime loss at the hands of Florida State Wednesday, and might be without starting point guard Shelton Mitchell, who is in concussion protocol after taking a hard fall against the Seminoles.
Despite the loss, Clemson remains high in the minds of NCAA Tournament prognosticators, and should have a favorable matchup if they continue their good run of play in the twilight of the regular season.
Brownell’s team was the third-fastest in school history to reach 20 wins, and a win over the Blue Devils Sunday could solidify a double-bye in the ACC Tournament.
