Frank Martin has seen his team lose their last two home games to Tennessee and Texas tech by not being able to finish the way they did in the win at Florida. Martin said Monday offensive stagnation and lack of toughness to make key plays late in games hurt his team in those two defeats. It is something, he said, he will work on in practice.
Wednesday night the Gamecocks close out the month of January with a chance to climb over the .500 mark in league play for the first time as they host Mississippi State.
Monday morning Martin met with the media and talked about the Bulldogs’ strong inside game as well as the status of injured guard Kory Holden.
