Shrine Bowl DL Rick Sandidge of Concord, NC Friday released his final three schools as USC, North Carolina and Georgia. He plans to take official visits to all three in January and he said in his tweet each school has a 100% chance to land him. Michigan and Florida did not make the cut with him. Sandidge saw four USC games this season and has family ties to the program thru his mother who is a grad. He tentatively is scheduled to visit Georgia January 12th, North Carolina on the 19th and USC February 2nd, but those dates are subject to change.
Former Arkansas commitment 2019 QB Ty Evans of Monument, CO plans to take an unofficial visit to USC in January. Evans decommitted from the Razorbacks November 26th. USC was one of his first offers and he’s also picked up offers from NC State and North Dakota State. In leading his team to a state championship Evans passed for 3627 yards and 42 touchdowns and was named the player of the year in his state.

USC is one of the schools still recruiting DL John Mincey (6-4 265) of Homerville, GA. He has been committed to Arkansas but won’t sign until February 7th. Kentucky, Georgia and Louisville are others still involved according to Richard Davenport of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
DE Dorian Gerald of Florence and College of the Canyons JC, CA indicated in a tweet to an apparent USC fan Thursday night that USC may not be recruiting him any longer. The tweet, which Gerald later deleted, was in response to a question regarding his interest in the Gamecocks, and he responded by saying the Gamecocks had moved on and that he had done nothing wrong.
