Dabo Swinney concluded the pre-Christmas break portion of bowl practice by saying he hoped Wednesday’s practice wouldn’t be his team’s last home practice of the season.
The Tigers are due back to campus on the 26th and will hold a morning practice the next day before traveling to New Orleans. Clemson will practice at Tulane University’s football stadium starting on Thursday while Alabama will practice on the Superdome game field.
Clemson has not had any additional injuries pop up over the course of the week, and the only player expected not to play is LB Judah Davis with a previously disclosed knee injury.
Practices are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday in New Orleans, with a walk-through Sunday before the Monday game on January 1st.
Swinney in his final comments before leaving for New Orleans says he much more pleased with this second week of practice than last week.
