The Clemson Tigers went on a 16-6 run to close the first half and held UNC Asheville to 10 points in the first ten minutes of the second half en route to an 83-52 blowout victory Sunday.
Clemson shot 52 percent from the field, led by Marcquise Reed who led the Tigers with 19 points. Reed, the transfer from Robert Morris, continues to play well, having hit double figures in every game except one this season, averaging 13.1 points per game.
Donte Grantham added 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers, who forced 16 turnovers, leading to 19 points the other way for Clemson.
The Tigers (7-1) continue their home stretch facing Samford on Saturday, before back-to-back games against SEC opponents with Florida and South Carolina.
