2019 Emerald TE Luke Deal was offered by NC State over the weekend while in for an unofficial visit. Clemson might not be too far off from offering as well. “Clemson has shown a lot of interest and I’ve been on a visit there. I’ve been to camps at both Clemson and South Carolina but I’ve never visited USC because they haven’t shown very much interest. It’s still very early and I’m going to enjoy the ride while it lasts. Either way, whoever offers me, I’m going to continue to play hard to get a ring in high school and be successful at the next level. Coaches like that I’m a big, physical player that plays hard on every snap. They also like that I’m a tight end who can block in the trenches or flex out and catch the ball well.” Deal said he’s not sure about future visits but might go back to Clemson at some point.
2019 DL Travon Walker of Thomaston, GA gave Rivals his current top four as Clemson, USC, Alabama and Georgia.
TL Hannah 2019 QB Alex Meredith was offered by Army.
DE Antonio Anderson of Lower Richland said he’s getting heavy interest now from Charleston Southern. He has offers from Eastern Kentucky and Old Dominion. He recently was selected for the Offense-Defense All Star Game.
DB Divaad Wilson of Miami said he’s not heard much from USC since his official visit in late October. Wilson has been committed to Florida and is holding to that right now despite the upheaval in the program. “I don’t really care.” He said he just likes Florida for Florida. Wilson will take an official visit to Georgia November 17th and to Florida the following weekend. Without hearing much from the Gamecocks, Wilson said the Gamecocks are third on his list behind Florida and Georgia. He’s last contact from recruiter Travaris Robinson was about a week ago and he’s not sure if the Gamecocks are still interested. He said Georgia hasn’t recruited him all that hard either and he wants to use his visit to learn more about the Bulldogs’ interest.
