Home games at USC and Clemson this weekend, especially for important league games, will attract key visitors for each. Official visits for the Gamecocks are scheduled to be DB Asante Samuel Jr. and Divaad Wilson. Top unofficial visits for the 2018 class are scheduled to be LB Channing Tindall, TE James Mitchell and OL Dylan Wonnum.
Clemson is scheduled for an official visit from DE KJ Henry. OL Cade Mays, a Tennessee commit, is scheduled for an unofficial visit.
Other scheduled official visits of note this weekend for 2018 prospects: Clemson target OL Jordan McFadden to Virginia Tech; Clemson target DB Brendan Radley-Hiles to Oklahoma; DB CJ Smith, who has visited USC officially, to Oklahoma; and Clemson targets DB Tyreke Johnson, DB Pat Surtain, OL Jamaree Salyer and OL Jackson Carman to Ohio State.
USC target DE Dorian Gerald of College of the Canyons JC, CA set an official to Louisville for December 8th. He will visit USC November 17th and Tennessee November 24th. He’s a UT commitment.
DB Kelvin Joseph of Baton Rouge, a former LSU commit, said Thursday at his Army All American jersey presentation LSU is still #1 on his list. He has taken an official visit to LSU and said he will visit Alabama November 4th and Clemson the following weekend.
2019 RB Tony Mathis Jr. of Cedartown, GA plans to visit USC Saturday.
2019 P/PK Aidan Swanson of IMG Academy plans to visit Clemson Saturday. He has a preferred walk-on offer from the Tigers after impressing Dabo Swinney in camps. He’s a native of Tampa and has family living in the Upstate.
USC is in the top ten with 2019 6-5 Wendell Moore of Concord, NC. The others on his list are Florida State, Ohio State, Maryland, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Duke, Kansas, Washington and NC State.
LHP Cole Ganopulos Chattahoochee Valley JC, AL committed to USC for the 2018 class. He started his career at Auburn before transferring to the junior college. Last season he had 12 appearances and 7 starts. He was 6-0 with a 1.33 ERA. He struck out 32 in 40.2 innings pitched.
