Clemson basketball coach Brad Brownell landed a big man for the future Wednesday night when 6-11 center Trey Jemison of Hoover, AL announced on Twitter a commitment to the Tigers. Jemison also considered Auburn, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma State, Harvard, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
“I’m so truly blessed to be a highly-recruited athlete and to have been recruited by so many Division One schools,” Jemison wrote on Twitter in making his announcement. “At the conclusion of many nights of prayer, I’ve found peace in my college decision and I will be attending Clemson University to continue my education and playing basketball.”
Jemison was offered by Clemson last year and visited last football season. He recently took an official visit to Harvard. He is Clemson’s third commitment for the 2018 class.
