Clemson likely will get DB Quindarious Monday of Atlanta back on campus this season, it just didn’t happen last weekend when his cousin was in town with the Kent State team because he was a Florida State guest for the Alabama game in Atlanta. And it won’t happen this Saturday when the Tigers host Auburn.
Monday currently is committed to Auburn but Clemson and Georgia continue to recruit him. His team has a bye Friday but he has the SAT Saturday morning, and he said he couldn’t make it anyway because his dad has to work Saturday. But he will visit Clemson at some point with the date to be determined.
Monday said he’s been focused on his own team and season and not much on setting up official visits. He said Clemson does remain on him hard and he hears from recruiters Brent Venables and Mike Reed regularly. He also hears regularly from Auburn and some from Georgia.
“I’m still enjoying the process,” Monday said. “I never know what’s going to happen. I just keep communicating with the coaches. I don’t want to make them feel like I don’t want to talk to nobody else. I just can’t do that.”
Monday will be an early graduate so he wants to make his final decision soon because he only has four weeks left in his first quarter.
So far this season Monday has five touchdowns and 259 receiving yards, and 22 tackles with one interception on defense.
