Will Muschamp tolerates mistakes from his young guys in spring practice as long as they are made with effort and toughness, but that doesn’t mean his kids get a free pass.
The Gamecocks’ head football coach said if players on his defensive line don’t start generating pressure he’ll be forced to look to freshman who aren’t yet on the team.
The Gamecocks held their second major scrimmage of the spring Saturday. They will practice three times next week leading up to their spring game on Saturday. The Garnet and Black Game will kickoff at 2:00 PM at Williams-Brice Stadium.
After practice on Saturday, Muschamp took time to talk about who is making strides on the field and who will play the most snaps in the spring game next weekend.
