USC is one of the early, strong suitors for RB Master Teague III (5-11 194) of Murfreesboro, TN and the early work has paid off with strong interest from him. Teague was in Columbia Saturday for the Western Carolina game.
“I had a great visit, I had a great time with Coach Bentley and Coach Muschamp,” Teague said. “Coach Bentley told me that I was his guy for 2018 and Coach Muschamp said that God has blessed me with talent and he would love for me to be a part of their program. I was able to see the game day atmosphere and meet with the running backs in the locker room after the game. It was overall a great visit. Coach Bentley showed me a video presentation of my runs and USC runs that showed how the offense we run at my high school is the same office they run. They believe that I would fit perfectly in their offense.”
Teague also has visited Tennessee, Louisville, Ohio State, Vanderbilt and Middle Tennessee State.
“My family and I will keep getting to know programs, their plans for me and coaches the best we can,” Teague said. “We are praying that God will make it obvious when it is time to decide. Hopefully we can make a decision between the beginning and end of summer.”
Teague also has offers from Tennessee, Duke, Georgia Tech, Middle Tennessee, Louisville, Memphis and Georgia Tech. This season Teague has rushed for 1758 yards and 20 touchdowns.
