WR Jalen Guyton (6-1 185) of Allen, TX plans to visit Clemson this April. The Lone Star State product has 18 offers including one from the Tigers. He is excited to see what Clemson has to offer.
“Coach (Chad) Morris is a real cool dude,” Guyton said. “Everything that I’ve heard about Clemson is that it’s a beautiful campus so I look forward to seeing it for myself.”
Guyton’s other offers span the United States and he says distance will not be the ultimate factor in his decision. “Coaches are telling me that when I know, I’ll know,” he said. “That’s when I’ll make a decision. If it’s in Texas, that’s cool because I’ll be close to home. But, if I have to go somewhere else, that’s cool too.”
He has visited Texas A&M and TCU for junior days and enjoyed both visits noting both schools have something to offer. “A&M is really big and has incredible facilities,” Guyton said. “TCU is smaller and has a nice campus too. It’s a different type of environment.I guess it just depends on what you’re looking for.”
Other trips coming up for Guyton, other than Clemson, are Notre Dame, Ohio State, Stanford, Northwestern and Oklahoma. He holds offers from each. His other offers include Texas Tech, San Diego State, Ole Miss, SMU, Illinois, Arizona State, Baylor, Wake Forest and Indiana.
As for favorites he said, “Sure. There’s probably a few schools I like more than others but that’s for me to know right now,” followed by a chuckle.
