After many years of covering the career of Ray Tanner as the head baseball coach at USC, tonight we all had to catch our tongues as we referred to him for the first time as “athletic director” at USC. Today USC President, Harris Pastides, officially introduced Tanner as the new head man of the athletics department in Columbia.
