Former USC center fielder and College World Series MVP Jackie Bradley Jr. is quicky moving up the ranks in the Red Sox Organization. Bradley Jr. was recently promoted to Double A and is hitting .350 through his first 20 games with the farm team in Portland.
After three seasons with the Gamecocks, Bradley Jr. was selected with the 40th pick in last year’s MLB draft. He is already rated as the third best prospect in the Red Sox organization. Word is there is already a lot of buzz about Bradley in Beantown. If he continues to tear through minor league pitching he could be a late season call up when rosters expand in September.
