Catcher Spencer Kieboom has played his last game at Clemson. The Washington Post reported late Wednesday night that Kieboom unofficially had agreed to contract terms with the Washington Nationals.
Kieboom was selected in the fifth round of the baseball draft Tuesday. He’s the first of the Clemson veterans who were drafted to agree to terms.
Clemson is also expected to lose third baseman Richie Shaffer and pitchers Kevin Brady and Dominic Leone.
