Andre Branch, former Clemson defensive end, reached an agreement with the Jacksonville Jaguars for a four-year deal worth $5.1 million according to the Florida Times-Union. The Jaguars drafted Branch with the 38th overall pick in the second round of this years’ draft.
Branch started in all 14 games last season for the Tigers recording 85 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, and one forced fumble and fumble recovery. Branch was selected as a third-team AP All-American and was on the first-team All-ACC last season.
Branch was the first draft pick the Jaguars have signed this offseason. Justin Blackmon, the fifth overall pick for the Jaguars, has yet to sign with Jacksonville.
