The bracket it set for this week’s SEC Baseball Tournament . The tourney starts Tuesday in Hoover, Alabama and concludes with the championship game on Saturday afternoon.
USC is the number two seed in the tournament and is playing in Bracket Two which includes number three seed Florida, five seed Vanderbilt, eight seed Georgia and ten seed Auburn. In case you forgot, this year’s tournament includes tenteams. Previously only the top eight teams qualified.
By virtue of the two seed the Gamecocks get a bye in Tuesday’s first round. The Gamecocks will play Wednesday at a yet to be determined time against the lower seed winner of the Florida-Auburn game or Vandy-Georgia.
Bracket One if the tournament includes top seed LSU with a bye, number four seed Kentucky facing nine seed Ole Miss and six seed Arkansas playing seven seed Mississippi State.
It looks like CSS and SportsSouth will handle most of the television coverage until ESPN2 takes over for the title game.
