Clemson centerfielder Thomas Brittle will be out until late March wth an injury to his throwing hand, according to Clemson spokesman Brian Hennesey.
Brittle suffered the injury while attempting a bunt during Sunday’s game versus Boston College. He received stitches and is expected to be out until later this month.
Brad Felder and Tyler Slaton are the likely candidates to replace Brittle in centerfield. Clemson is coming off a weekend sweep of Boston College in the Tigers’ first ACC series.
