This year things are lot merrier around Hilton Head. RBC stepped up with a title sponsorship and Boeing is also chipping in sponsorship funds and the tournament is now fully funded for the next five years. Today is the tournament’s annual media day, which gives media duffers like Kornblut a chance to hack it up around the course, but more importantly a chance for tournament director Steve Wilmot to talk about the bright future of the RBC Heritage.

Even though today’s event is filled with mostly media hackers, there is some actual talent at the course as well. Last year’s tournament champion Brandt Snedecker is also in Hilton Head today and was kind enough to spend a couple of minutes with Kornblut to share his thoughts on the upcoming tournament.

This year’s RBC Heritage will take place the weekend after the Masters, April 9th-15th.
