Make no mistake about it, the USC basketball team is playing better ball these days. After early season losses to Elon and Tennessee State it was easy to write off this team, but the past few games have given a ray of hope. Starting with a road win at Clemson, Darrin Horn’s team has shown improvement in each of the past three games, including an eight point home loss to 2nd ranked Ohio State Saturday.
Beginning with tomorrow night’s home game against Southeastern Louisiana the Gamecocks have four straight winnable games that could give them solid momentum heading into the SEC opener at Kentucky on January 7th.
USC (4-6) will play Southeastern Louisiana (5-4) at 7:00 Wednesday night at Colonial Life Arena. The game will be televised on SportsSouth.
