USC senior defensive end Melvin Ingram and Gamecock senior offensive lineman Rokevious Watkins both earned first team AP All-SEC honors Monday afternoon. Ingram led the Gamecocks with 8 ½ sacks this year. He also scored three touchdowns, including two in a win at Georgia.
Carolina junior wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was named to the second team. Senior defensive back Antonio Allen and Sophomore Marcus Lattimore also made the second team.
Devin Taylor was honorable mention.

Alabama running back Trent Richardson was named the offensive player of the year. LSU’s Tyrann Mathieu, AKA “The Honey Badger” was the defensive player of the year. Georgia running back Isaiah Crowell was the freshman of the year. LSU head man Les Miles picked up coach of the year honors.
