The Clemson football team is glad to have one more game to play this week. It gives them the chance to flush the sour finish to their regular season that saw them lose three of their last four games.
The Tigers go into Saturday’s ACC Championship Game against Virginia Tech as a touchdown underdog. So, after being favored in most of their games over the last half of the season, and having been dominated in their last two outings, the Tigers believe they have something to prove again. To their fans, and to themselves.
The Tigers and Hokies will kickoff Saturday night at 8:02 PM at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The winner advances to the Orange Bowl. If Virginia Tech loses, the Hokies are expected to be selected for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl in Atlanta. If Clemson loses, the Tigers could end up in Atlanta, but their most likely destination would be the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando.
