USC junior wide receiver Alshon Jeffery underwent surgery on his hand today. Jeffery broke his hand midway through the win over Clemson Saturday night. He was sidelined briefly, but returned to the game and caught his fourth quarter touchdowns pass after the injury.
Jeffery will begin rehabbing the injury in sometime next week, and his status will re-evaluated in the next couple of weeks. He is expected to be back in time for the bowl game.
Offensive lineman Terrence Campbel suffered a broken fibula on the final play of the first half. He too is expected back for the bowl game.
