USC’s win over Clemson Saturday night did not result in a boost in the poll numbers. The Gamecocks remain 14th in the AP ranking and 13th in the Coaches Top 25 this week. Clemson, however, continued its slide in the two rankings. The Tigers were once ranked among the top ten. Now, with three losses in their last four games, they are ranked 21st in both polls.
At the top of the rankings are LSU and Alabama, the same top two as last week. Oklahoma State moved up to third this week in the AP poll and is followed by Stanford and Virginia Tech. But the Coaches Poll has Virginia Tech at #3 followed by Stanford and Oklahoma State.
