Clemson strikes quickly on its first possession of the half. Tajh Boyd hits Sammy Watkins in stride on a deep slant pattern and Watkins does the rest to complete a 49 yard pass play. With 13:34 left in the quarter, Georgia Tech’s lead is down to 24-10.

The Tigers came flying down the field on a variety of runs and passes, mostly to Watkins. At quarter’s end, the Tigers were at the Tech one-half yard line.
