2010-2011 Record: 29-8 (13-3) Elite Eight
Florida rolled through the Southeastern Conference last season, and Billy Donovan’s Gators are ready for another deep March run. For that to happen, the Gators will have to replace Vernon Macklin, Alex Tyus, and SEC Player of the Year Chandler Parsons. Florida has plenty of playmakers in the backcourt, led by Erving Walker. Gator fans are excited about the debut of highly-touted freshman Bradley Beal, who is expected to bring a solid perimeter scoring presence to the Florida lineup. After struggling early last season, the Gators will look to start the season strong and carry over their momentum from last year’s regular-season conference championship. Florida will be fighting for the top spot in the conference and the Gators want to take the next step in the postseason.
