USC fans hoping to see Jackie Bradley Jr. in a Gamecock uniform again may get their wish in Omaha. Today Bradley Jr. received the go ahead from his doctor to resume all baseball activities, including swinging a bat.
Bradley Jr. worked out the team today and did some light swinging with the bat. Tomorrow he will hit off a tee to further test the wrist he injured April 23rd at Mississippi State. Ray Tanner still hasn’t decided if he is going to include Bradley Jr. on the 27 man active roster for the College World Series, but at this point it would be surprising if that doesn’t happen.
Bradley Jr. posted this on his Twitter feed this afternoon:
Time to shock the world. Season ending injury? Yeah rightttttt, try again
Bradley Jr. would be used in a reserve role if he makes the trip to Omaha.
