Story by Rixon Lane:
South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia has been suspended indefinitely from the football program.
University of South Carolina athletic director Eric Hyman made the announcement today, saying that Garcia “has exhibited behavior that is unacceptable” and will not be allowed to participate in any football related activities until further notice.
The senior quarterback missed the first week of spring practice due to suspension from an incident that occurred in the days leading up to the Gamecocks appearance in the Chick-Fil-A bowl last season.
USC is scheduled to hold its annual Garnet & Black Spring Game Saturday at 1 p.m. in Williams-Brice Stadium.
