USC is the first school to offer DB Devon Miller (5-9 165) of Riverdale, GA and the Gamecocks have moved out to a clear lead with him. “Coach Ward wants coach Spurrier to come see me play,” Miller said. “He knows I want to commit but I’m going to wait until after football season.” Miller is drawing interest from Tennessee, Wake Forest, Alabama, Oregon, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Oklahoma State, Ohio State, UCLA, Purdue, Indiana and LSU. He was at USC’s junior day and has also visited Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Tennessee. Miller also visited USC for the Tennessee game last season. Miller also plays receiver but is being recruited as a cover corner. Last season he had 40 tackles and 2 interceptions. He also registered 12 pass break ups.
WR Marvin Bracy (5-9 167) of Orlando counts USC among his offers along with Miami, Florida, Florida State, South Florida, East Carolina, Alabama, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Nebraska. The schools love Bracy’s speed. He’s the state champion in the 100 and 200 meters and said he had the nation’s fastest time last spring at 10.19 seconds. As a receiver last season he caught 25 passes for 585 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also returned two kicks for scores. Bracy went to a junior day at Miami. He has a track meet in South Carolina and hopes to visit USC at that time. Right now he says all the schools are even with him. He’ll make his decision during his senior season.
