Chad Morris did not arrive at Clemson Tuesday to take over as the Tigers’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. And the snow and ice had nothing to do with it.
Morris remains in Tulsa, where he was the offensive coordinator this past season, where he will interview tonight for the Golden Hurricane head coaching job. This is according to Kirk Bohls of the Austin, TX Statesman. Bohls cites a source close to the situation for his story. Morris was a high school coach in Texas for 16 years before moving to Tulsa.
The Tulsa job appears to be between Morris and former Tulsa head coach Steve Kragthorpe and a decision could come as soon as Wednesday Bohls reported.
