6-7 forward Murphy Holloway has had his appeal to Ole Miss to be allowed to transfer to Clemson or USC denied. The decision was revealed today by an Ole Miss spokesman who did not elaborate.
Holloway made his appeal yesterday. The former Dutch Fork star left Ole Miss so that he could be closer to his family and his young daughter. He expected that Ole Miss would not release him to USC because it’s another SEC school, but he had planned to make the move to Clemson.
Ole Miss has not given a reason why it won’t allow Murphy to transfer to Clemson. Murphy can still attend either of the schools by paying his own way his first year. He has been released by Ole Miss to transfer to the College of Charleston, Charleston Southern, Presbyterian, Winthrop or Costal Carolina.
